From Your Board

On Saturday, February 15, your Board gathered for the 2025 Winter Retreat—an inspiring session focused on setting goals and actions for the year ahead. Your input from the January Annual Meeting, along with insights from the 2024 Listening Circles, played a crucial role in shaping our direction. One exciting initiative you'll hear more about soon is our plan to collaborate with sponsors to enhance member experiences and give back to our chapter.

This year’s theme, Strengthening Connections & Expanding Communities, is already coming to life with the launch of six new pop-up micro-communities we call Connection Circles, creating fresh opportunities for members to connect and engage. Be sure to check out the list of these micro-communities in this newsletter—more details are coming soon! We think you’ll be just as excited as we are about what’s ahead.

Another meaningful opportunity on the horizon is our Past Presidents’ Brunch on Saturday, March 8. This annual gathering brings together leaders who have shaped our chapter over the past 30 years. One key topic of discussion will be how to commemorate our chapter’s historic milestone as the first-ever ICF chapter!

Your Board is dedicated to making 2025 a fantastic year, but we can’t do it alone. We’re looking for volunteers—some opportunities require just 1-2 hours, while others are more involved. Keep an eye on the newsletter for details or connect with a Board member at our monthly meetings. We’re also updating our website with a volunteer page where you can explore current opportunities that match your interests.

If you’d like to be part of this incredible community, I’d love to chat with you! Feel free to reach out at president@icf-nt.com.

Looking forward to an amazing year together!

Dara Rossi, PhD, PCC
President, ICF-North Texas
