Feeling Crispy: Building Your Burnout Recovery Plan

presented by Kate Steiner, PhD

Dr. Kate Steiner is a Burnout Recovery expert, coach, consultant, and founder and CEO of LIFT Wellness Consulting. She supports professionals in overcoming the burden of burnout, through a proven reflection and developmental process. Holding a Master’s of Counseling and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision, her practice is grounded in the research-based Steiner Self-Reflective Sustainability and Wellness (SSRSW) model, published in the Oracle Research Journal. She has been a researcher in wellness and burnout for over 15 years. Dr. Steiner is the author of Burnout: A Guide for Every Professional to Identify, Prepare, and Recover their Joy and host of the From Burnout to Recovery Show with Dr. Kate. Her mission is to end the burnout cycle for professionals so they are living happier, healthier lives.

Program Description:

Burnout was a career factor before the pandemic and increased as coaches provided emotional support as they maintained a sense of calm, confidence, grace, and patience (while managing their own pandemic impacts). How do you create space for yourself and show up for your clients, friends, and family? In this session, you will be introduced to a model that builds resilience to burnout. This is not about finding balance; this is about integration. You will learn to observe your wellness, prepare for burn events, and recover in your personal way.

Program Outcomes:

Participants will:

  • Be introduced to research-backed practices meant to increase longevity in their career
  • Develop a personal plan to observe, plan and recover from burn events
  • Identify the importance of work/life integration not work/life balance
