Our March 8 Luncheon Program features Randy Mayeux, a broad-based knowledge consultant, professional speaker, and writer. He is the founder, and now consultant, for Creative Communication Network.

In this presentation, Randy Mayeux will provide a full synopsis of the book Radical Candor, and lead interactive exercises modeled after the insights from the book. These exercises will model techniques that allow coaches to have more direct and effective conversations with their clients, as well as helping their clients do the same with their direct reports and their teams.

2019 ICF All-Texas Conference & Retreat
March 28 - 31

On a Saturday in January every year, a gathering happens that many of our members may not know about. Yet it is an important tradition within our ICF North Texas chapter. The prior year’s Board, the incoming Board and all Past Presidents of ICF North Texas are invited to a brunch to recognize leaders of the chapter and acknowledge the contributions of all who have led our chapter to where it is today.

Past Presidents in attendance at this year’s brunch were: Jim Cooper, Judy Feld, Randy Fernandes, Neena Newberry, Catherine Oleksiw, Jude Olson, Neil Phillips, Susan Shapiro, Alma Weaver-Jones and Beverley Wright. Each were invited by Mike Caracalas, 2019 ICF NT President, to share a memory of their year leading our organization. The accomplishments shared truly reflect a story of chapter highlights throughout the years. And, it was agreed that documenting the chapter history is an important priority. Catherine acknowledged the 2018 outgoing Board of Directors with words of gratitude and also with a gift of a journal (perhaps to capture those memories of their time on the Board). The meeting concluded with a welcome to the 2019 Board along with well-wishes for a great year ahead from all our chapter’s past leaders.

We are fortunate to have so many people who remain connected and engaged in supporting our chapter--long after their formal leadership role has ended.
