Marie Raines partners with leaders choosing to become their best leader. For the past 10 years Marie served as the Director of Corporate Education at UT Dallas. Marie Raines, brought business strategy, leadership, team management, corporate training, coaching and human performance solutions to UTD's corporate clients. Marie clarified organizational goals, provided strategies to meet those goals and to improved resource performance in the pursuit of excellence. She provided innovative solutions in the areas of collaborative online learning and leadership development.
Formerly at EDS' ExcellerateHRO, Marie designed, created and managed the workforce development product offering as part of an end-to-end human resources business process outsourcing solution. This offering included goal alignment, performance management, 360 multi-rater reviews, succession planning, learning management, content development, and employee satisfaction surveys. In her role as product manager, Marie took responsibility for the concept, building, sales support and implementation of the solution.
Marie began her career at EDS, where she served as a systems engineer supporting the thrift industry and then progressed into various leadership roles to division manager. As Global Technical Training leader at EDS, Marie staffed and led the company’s first interactive technology development team, reducing corporate training costs by developing computer-based training programs. Her team produced an award-winning multimedia training development methodology and applied it to improve EDS’ development processes. They also influenced and set new training standards for EDS and the entire training industry.
A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Marie received a Bachelor of Science in Education with concentrations in Psychology and Mathematics. Marie has certificates in Lifetime Teaching, Quality Assurance and Performance Consulting and is currently working on her coaching certification.
